Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026.

Short version: this site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising, and has no forms. Here is the detail.

Who runs this site

Stuart Heathcote, trading as Local SEO Expert, a service from Arcade Union Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 17502541). Arcade Union Ltd is the controller of any personal data described here. Contact: seo@arcadeunion.com.

What the website collects

• Server logs. Like every website, the server records each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page asked for, the browser type and the page you came from, if any. I use this only to keep the site working and secure. The logs are deleted automatically after about 14 days.
• Nothing else. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising or social media scripts, no embedded maps or videos, and no contact form.

If I add analytics later, I will choose a cookie-free tool and update this page first.

If you contact me

If you email me, I get your email address and whatever you write. I use it to reply and to carry out any work you ask for. I keep the emails for as long as the conversation or the working relationship lasts, and for the period I need to keep business records. If you use the Arcade Union enquiry form on studio.arcadeunion.com, that site's own privacy notice applies.

Where it is hosted

The site is served from a dedicated server that I rent, located in the United States. Your IP address is processed there when you visit.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, such as my clients' sites and Arcade Union Studio. They have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will respond. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
